Worcester – Texel – Aug ’25

Ram lambs and shearlings both peaked at 20,000gns, at the Texel Sheep Society’s English National sale at Worcester. The 98 ram lambs averaged a record £1450.82, while 71 shearling rams set a new high of £3068.66 per head, and 47 gimmers averaged out at £1413.03.

Topping the ram lambs, Knap Impact made 20,000gns to Kingspark and Whitehart

Dearest shearling, at 20,000gns, was Loosebeare Hardcore, which sold to the Auchry flock, with a half share retained

Peacehay High Expactations made 18,000gns to Maerdy

Whitehart Hot To Handle sold at 8000gns, to Pilkington Farms

Leading the female trade at 9000gns was this gimmer from Allanfauld, which sold to Strathbogie
