A total of 25 bulls hit the five-figure mark, to a top of 25,000gns, at the Limousin Society show and sale at Carlisle, where 88 bulls sold to average £8788.98 and 11 females levelled out at £5641.36.

Wilodge Ubet made 20,000gns to Brockhurst

Shaws Umpire, reserve intermediate champion, sold for 20,000gns to Fieldson

Maraiscote Upshot sold at 20,000gns to Newhouse

Ampertaine Urban reached 18,000gns to N Pearson

Garrowby Umbongo also made 18,000gns, selling to Moir Livestock, Fraserburgh

Maraiscote Ukraine sold for 18,000gns to DT Richards and Sons, Llety Brongu

Kinniside Urock made 16,000gns to Crossdykes

Ampertaine Ulrich sold at 15,000gns to E Dean, Kirkhouse, Brampton

Goldies Ubet sold for 14,000gns to Messrs Padfield, York

Brontemoor Umachoman went at 14,000gns to Macarthur Bros, Nairn

Grahams Utah sold at 14,000gns to the Alfords, Foxhill
