Oban – Highland Cattle – Oct ’23

The autumn show and sale of Highland cattle at Oban peaked at 11,000gns for the January-born heifer calf, Capleadh Ruadh of Cladich.

Overall, five three-year-old heifers averaged £5817, while 12 two-year-old heifers levelled out at £2590, 20 yearling heifers at £2425.50, 28 heifer calves at £1983.75 and six unaltered heifers averaged £1680.

Marsili 29th of Leys made 5500gns to Falko Steinberg, Germany

Kathleen 14th of Earn sold at 5000gns to Norman McBurney, Ballymena
