Carlisle – Limousin – Oct ’23

Goldies Torpedo led the trade at the sale of Limousin bulls at Carlisle, selling at 32,000gns.

Overall, 13 bulls sold at five-figure prices, with a total of 62 bulls selling to average £8206.58.

At the Meadowrig herd dispersal the evening prior to the bull sale, Meadowrig Oopsdaisy and her bull calf Meadowrig Upstart, topped the sale, selling at 13,000gns.

Foxhillfarm Titan sold at 30,000gns to Mary Cormack, Gaer Hill

Bankdalefarm Tigerroll made 20,000gns to Orkney

Meadowrig Pedro also made 20,000gns, to Trevor Shields, Newry, but wasn’t keen on getting his picture taken!

Ampertaine Topgun sold for 17,000gns to JA Wood and Sons, Kinnerton Hall, Shrewsbury

Maraiscote Tonto made 15,000gns to R and J Johnston, Orkney

Spittalton Tesla also sold at 15,000gns, to SG Perkins, Haywood, Radstock

Cornsay Thunder reached 14,000gns, selling to W Barron, Morrow Edge, Durham

Goldies Tango sold at 12,000gns to A Bunting and Son, Midtown, New Abbey

Spittalton Trump sold at 12,000gns to GL Hutton, Setmabanning, Threlkeld

Glenrock Terminator was another 12,000gns seller, going to D and L Graham, Burnbank

Garrowby Tarzan made 12,000gns to R and J Graham, Stirling

Garrowby Troy sold at 10,000gns to R and JP Mullholland, Great Orton

Meadowrig Oopsadaisy and her bull calf, Meadowrig Upstart, sold at 13,000gns to D Murphy, NI
