
Worcester – Texel – Aug ’23
Texels enjoyed a strong trade at the English National show and sale at Worcester, with a gimmer from James and Ellie Amphlett’s Topwood flock leading the trade at 16,000gns. She sold to join Hugh and Alan Blackwood’s Auldhouseburn flock.
Overall, 35 gimmers averaged £1509, while 80 shearling rams levelled out at £2518 and 113 ram lambs averaged £1321.
