Carlisle – Limousin – October ’22

Limousin bulls met a steady trade at the breed’s autumn show and sale at Carlisle, selling to a top of 20,000gns on two occasions.

Overall, 70 bulls sold to average £7579, an increase of £250 on the year.

Pre-Sale champion Spittalton Stag made 19,000gns to Simpson & Son, Mains of Creuchies, Perthshire

Wedderburn Stormzy sold at 18,000gns to Thor Atkinson, Arradfoot

Pabo Spiceupyourlife made 16,000gns to Garrowby Farm, North Yorkshire

Lomond Superstar sold at 15,000gns, going to Renton Highlaws Ltd, Morpeth

Goldies Statesman sold for 12,000gns to McKenna Bros, County Londonderry

Reddings Supreme also sold for 12,000gns, going to M & U Campbell, Stranraer

Another at 12,000gns, Aultside Samurai sold to Cadzow & Co Ltd, East Lothian

Again, selling for 12,000gns, Grahams Sterling went to M Meldrum, Ballindalloch

At 11,000gns, Trueman Stevie went to T Common, Hexham

Loosebeare Seth sold for 10,000gns to C Ferris, County Down

Trueman Samba also sold for 10,000gns, he went to A & F Watson, Northallerton
