
Carlisle – Limousin – May ’22
A new world record price was set at the spring show and sale of Limousins at Carlisle, with the pre-sale champion, Graiggoch Rambo, from Gerwyn Jones, selling at a phenomenal 180,000gns.
A further 19 bulls sold at five-figure prices, with 85 lots selling to average £10,651 – a 90% sale clearance.
At the female sale the previous day, 80 females sold to average £2735.90, with 26 females from the Maraiscote herd averaging out at £3214.62 and selling to 10,000gns.
