Carlisle – Solway & Tyne Texel Club Sale ’21

At 70,000gns, Bradleys Eubank, from Ryan Bradley, led the trade at the Solway and Tyne Texel Breeders’ Club sale at Carlisle, where a further six ram lambs sold at five-figure prices.

Overall, 294 ram lambs averaged £1687.21, while 183 shearling rams levelled out at £1155.53. At the female sale, 61 gimmers averaged £865.64 and three ewe lambs levelled out at £472.50.

Also included at the female sale, was the sale of 18 Annan gimmers from Keith Jamieson, which sold to 6500gns and averaged £2275.

The 18 Clantibuies and Galloway aged ewes averaged £369.83, while 14 Clantibuies and Galloway gimmers averaged £525.75.
