A total of 23 lots sold at or above the five-figure mark at the Scottish National show and sale of Texel ram lambs at Lanark, with trade peaking at 100,000gns.

Overall, 290 lambs sold to average £3818 (a 76% clearance), back by £941 on the year, for seven more sold.

The female sale topped at 13,000gns, with 42 gimmers averaging out at £1647.50.
