Hampshire Down Premier Sale – Shrewsbury

This year’s Premier Breeders’ Sale of Hampshire Downs, took place at Shrewsbury, with some sheep present at the market and sold through the ring, while some were online only. This format proved successful, with a 72% clearance.

Overall, 37 ram lambs sold to average £1037, while seven shearling rams averaged £728.70; 18 ewe lambs levelled at £499.33 and shearling ewes averaged £525.
