Galloways – Castle Douglas
A fantastic Spring Sale of Galloway cattle at Castle Douglas, saw 16 bulls average out at £4477.19 (+£277), 25 in-calf heifers level out at £3717 (+£1396) and nine bulling heifers average £2460 (+£328).
A new female record was set when the Finlay family’s Blackcraig Fay A899, sold at 12,500gns.
