Records were smashed at the Beef Shorthorn sale at UA, Stirling, with a new breed top price of 27,000gns being achieved for Meonside Nidavellir and a record average of £6127 for 54 bulls (up £1347 on the year, for a 79% clearance).
Females sold to 7500gns, for Millerston Iranian Marilyn, with 18 selling to average £3029.
