Carlisle – Blue Texel

A new record price for a Blue Texel ram was set at Carlisle, when the Gibbons’ ram lamb, Whatmore E-Male, sold at 25,000gns.

Overall, 86 ram lambs sold to average £1218.36, while 64 shearling rams levelled at £976.99 and four aged rams averaged £1010.62. In the females, 91 gimmers averaged out at £1186.15 and 59 ewe lambs sold to level at £724.14.
