Some super Beltex and Blue Texel sheep from Stuart Wood and Stasa Moyse, entered for the Harrison and Hetherington’s Rising Stars Sale, taking place online between Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.

WOODIES EXQUISITE (Lot 79). A fantastic stock gimmer which oozes style, breed type and muscle, going back to Woodies Natasha. Smart Ass Welshie (dam) is a Woodies Rice Crispie daughter. Kingledores Betty Boo (gdam) won Overall Champion RHS 2017.
WOODIES EXTRAVAGANT (Lot 80). A gimmer with tremendous width and muscle depth. Woodies Wild Wind (dam) is a Crocodile daughter and has bred rams to 8000gns and 6000gns, with gimmers to 7500gns and 4000gns.Carrigans Bob Lee. Swagger (sire) also bred Woodies City Girl Interbreed Champion RHS.
WOODIES EUROPEAN STAR (Lot 81). A very smart gimmer with great deep muscle and tremendous skin. Sired by 3000gns Ivanhoe Dynamo and out of a fantastic imported ewe from DS Gochenee flock.
WOODIES EXTRAVAGANZA (Lot 82). A very big, long gimmer, sired by Baileybrook CR7 who is breeding extremely well. Woodies Currency (dam) won 3rd prize RHS and sold privately to the Lurg flock.
WOODIES EH UP (Lot 83). A deep muscled Bailey Brook Chief daughter, out of a 8000gns Woodies William and show ewe Kingledores Pearl daughter.

WOODIES MADONNA (Lot 94). A very correct and well-marked ewe, who has bred very well in the flock. Would be a great foundation or flushing ewe
WOODIES ANGEL (Lot 95). A triplet-born gimmer, full of style, with beautiful markings and corectness. She is sired by a huge muscled ram who has won multiple championships in Holland – he has bred gimmers to 1600gns, 1300gns and 1100gns
WOODIES A TOPPER (Lot 96). A very big, square ram, with great skin and muscle. He has great power, depth and correctness. 28977 (sire) has bred extremely well in the flock

SALTIRE BLUE DIANA ROSS (Lot 113). A chance not to be missed. One of the flock’s best stock gimmers sired by Carlys Blue Captain, whose sons have sold to 5000gns and daughters to 2000gns. This gimmer is very correct, with extreme hard muscle and great length. Saltire Blue Betty (dam) is one of the best ewes in the flock and is half maternal sister to the much admired show ewe Saltire A Beauty.
SALTIRE BLUE DANCER (Lot 114). A cracking, breedy gimmer, sired by Dragon Buster RWAS Champion 2018. Her dam is one of the flock’s show ewes and out of a foundation ewe purchased at the Sapphire Sale 2015.
SALTIRE BLUE DISCO DIVA (Lot 115). A very flashy, hard muscled gimmer sired by Caryl’s Blues Captain. Saltire Blue A Beauty (dam) is a multiaward show winning ewe. This gimmer is a full sister to Saltire Derek, who is breeding exceptionally well in the Derg and Matt’s flock.
SALTIRE BLUE EWE STAR (Lot 116). One of the flock’s favourite ewe lambs. A very cocky twin lamb with exceptional deep, hard muscle. Saltire A Beauty is the dam, sire is a homebred Hackney Your Joking son (Saltire Crown Jewels).
SALTIRE BLUE EASY ON THE EYE (Lot 117). A very wide, muscled ewe lamb out of a powerful imported ewe. Sisters have sold to £1840, £1700 Spring Spectacular Sale 2020.
SALTIRE BLUE ELVIS (Lot 118). An outstanding ram lamb with tremendous length, skin and hard muscle. He is half-brother to Saltire Caveman and Saltire Derek. Saltire Blue A Beauty (dam) won 1st prize aged ewe RHS 2018. This lamb is a very correct Hackney Your Joking grandson.
