Ettrick Texels and Blue Texels For Sale
Some lovely Texels and Blue Texels from Ettrick, entered for Harrison and Hetherington’s Rising Stars online sale (on Thursday 25th-Friday 26th June) and the Summer Sensations sale, taking place on Tuesday 7th-Thursday 9th July.
Eligible for export, with mouths and legs guaranteed. The gimmers are wintered on grass and bred to go on and do well for purchasers.

Rising Stars entries
GGH1909074 (Lot 21). Dam is maternal sister to the dam of Van Gogh and gimmers sold to 10,000gns, 7500gns, 6800gns and 6000gns. Dam won Interbreed Champion Abington Show 2016. Gdam won multi Breed and Interbreed Championships. Her ET sister sold for 5800gns to the Oldford flock, where she has established a great line whilst also breeding many other high price daughters.
GGH1909211 (Lot 22). Dam’s ET brother includes 6000gns Ettrick Ace of Spade Champion Carlisle Sale, 4000gns Ettrick Amouruso and 4000gns Ettrick Aye Eye. Maternal brothers include 7500gns Ettrick Braw Lad and 7000gns Ettrick Bet Fred. Dam’s ET sisters have sold to 11,000gns and other rams from this line include Vagabond, who is retained for own use. He sired shearlings to £7000 Kelso and gimmers to 7000gns.
GGH1909069 (Lot 23). Dam’s quad sister sold for 4500gns. Gdam’s ET sister sold to 7000gns, and is from the same family line as Lot 21
ETTRICK DIAMOND (Lot 101). Won 7th prize ewe lamb RHS and 7th prize Kelso 2019. Maternal sister to 2600gns Ettrick Casino sold to the Whatmore and Johnsland flocks. Dam is a foundation ewe purchased from the Midnight Dispersal Sale. Dragon Buster (sire) is a top breeding ram, with progeny selling to 4600gns Male Champion RWAS 2018.
ETTRICK DUSTY (Lot 102). Dam is one of the flock’s show ewes, she was purchased for 2200gns at the Nantyderri Sale. An ET sister and another super crop of lambs from this dam means we are able to offer this cracker for sale. Dragon Buster (sire) is a top breeding ram, with progeny selling to 4600gns Male Champion RWAS 2018.
