Highland bulls sold to 6800gns at United Auctions’ sale at Oban, with Muran Vallay of Ardbhan leading the trade, selling to Kilchoan Estate, Kilmelford, Oban.
Females peaked at 5000gns, for the rising four-year-old, Diorbhail Dhubh 3rd of Craigowmill, which sold to Germany.
Averages: 15 two-year-old bulls, £3234; five yearling bulls, £1491; three senior heifers, £3710; 13 three-year-old heifers, £2011.15; five two-year-old heifers, £1039.50; 19 yearling heifers, £1065.47.
