Galloway – Castle Douglas Feb ’20
A steady demand for Galloway cattle at Castle Douglas, resulted in a 74% clearance, with trade soaring to 16,000gns for the McClymonts’ bull, Kirkstead Commander, a Troloss Impeccable son.
Overall, 20 bulls sold to average £4200 (up £1025 on the year), with 36 bulling heifers levelling at £2132 (+£595), and nine in-calf heifers averaging out at £2322 (+£245).
