Lanark – Blackface Lambs ’19
A total of 152 lambs sold on day two of the annual Blackface Ram Sale at Lanark, to average £5075 (-£485.58 for three fewer sold). Trade topped at £150,000, for an Auldhouseburn lamb, sired by last year’s £160,000 Elmscleugh purchase. He sold to Crossflatt and High Staward, with the Blackwoods retaining a third share.
Below are head shots of most of the top priced lots – we’ll head out to take them all properly on-farm over the next couple of weeks.
