Blessington – Texel

Trade topped at €12,000 at the Irish Premier Texel sale at Blessington. This was paid for a ram lamb from Roger Doherty, Urris Crew. The 120 ram lambs sold to average €1108, down €233 from last year’s sale, but the gimmer trade increased by €133, to level at €986 for 35. The 38 shearling rams averaged €801 and ewe lambs were €592 for 42.
