NI National Simmental Show

More than 50 entries turned out for judge Michael Barlow, at the Simmental breed’s inaugural NI National Show, held at Omagh Show.

Taking the overall championship was the junior bull Ranfurly Jameson, bred by David Hazelton from Dungannon. This eighteen-month-old, by Raceview King, also claimed the DANI Rosebowl for the best performance recorded bull.

The Hazelton family also secured the reserve supreme championship, with the three-year-old cow Ranfurly Weikel 18th, shown with her January-born Cleenagh Flasher heifer calf at foot.
