Retties Lone Ranger joins Vexour herd
The June, 2017-born Aberdeen-Angus bull, Retties Lone Ranger T412, bred by Richard and Carol Rettie, has been sold in a private deal to Jan Boomaars, for his Kent-based Vexour herd.
Lone Ranger is a son of Duncanziemere Edwin J311, bringing tremendous power and eye muscle. His dam, Wall Lady Ruth E397, comes from a consistent and proven female line – she is also the dam of Retties Lady Ruth N228, breed champion at several shows in 2016, including the Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire.
Mr Boomaars commented: “I have been lucky to secure Lone Ranger, given his breed character, style and pedigree.” He plans to use him on his 60-cow pedigree Angus herd and collect semen from him.
