Carlisle – Blue Texel Spring Spectacular & The Babes Sale

The Blue Texel Spring Spectacular sale at Carlisle saw ewes with lambs level at £1071.00  (plus £152.25), while shearling gimmers averaged £1023.75  (plus £282.19) and recipient ewes with lambs at foot averaged out at £958.12 (plus £266.17).

The day also included the Babes Sale of Beltex, Dutch Spotted and Badger Faced Texels, which peaked at 2800gns for a ewe hogg.

This Jewitt Beltex ewe lamb sold for 2500gns to Messrs Buckle, Kirkby Stephen
Ram lamb, Jewitt Extraordinary, sold for 2000gns to R Garth, Benatham
Badger Faced ewe lamb, Sunnybank April, sold for 1500gns to J Moir, Aberdeenshire
Ewe lamb, Sunnybank All My Heart, which made 1100gns to J & B MacGregor, Allanfauld, Kilsyth
