Scottish National Simmental Show

The Scottish National Simmental Show was held earlier this week at Turriff. A massive entry saw judge Simon Key, Norfolk, pick out the four-year-old cow Islavale Emerald from the Stronach family as his champion. The second prize cow, Drumsleed Farina followed Emerald all the way through to reserve champion for Gerald and Morag Smith. Male champion was Richard McCulloch’s six-year-old bull Curaheen Drifter.

Reserve Male Champion was Islavale Imperial from the Stronachs. He also won the junior championship
