Carlisle – Charolais
Averages increased by £225 on the year at Harrison and Hetherington’s show and sale of Charolais bulls at Carlisle on Saturday, with 60 selling to average £5383.88. Sale top at 13,000gns was Bill Bruce’s Balmyle Neptune.
In the females, 13 maiden heifers averaged £2245.38, while three served heifers levelled at £2572.50.
