Newark – Limousin Day

A high clearance saw trade peak at 6000gns at Newark Livestock Mart’s Limousin Day. Leading the way was a cow and calf unit – Absolute Justesse, a Diamant daughter, and her heifer calf, Absolute Narcisse, by Dinmore Lionheart. They sold to HD and PJ Cranfield, Copylawn Farm, Edenham.

Bulls sold to 5800gns, for McInnes Machine, a Loosebeare Iain son which went to CE Hardcastle and Son, Park Farm, Grantham, Lincs.

Overall, 39 bulls sold to average £3949.62, while eight unregistered cows levelled at £2152.50, five in-calf heifers averaged £2898, 55 heifers averaged out at £2011.23 and 47 cow and calf units levelled at £2776.91.
