Blackface – Ballymena

Averages increased on the year in most sections at Monday’s show and sale of Blackface rams at Ballymena, where trade peaked at 16,000gns for a north-type ram lamb.

Overall, 35 North-type shearlings levelled at £338.70, with 63 lambs averaging £1112.50. In the South-type section, 205 shearlings averaged £864.48, while 47 lambs averaged out at £1012.02.
