Beltex – Carlisle
The Beltex Sheep Society enjoyed a successful show and sale at Carlisle, with a new breed record set for a ram lamb, when Richard Woods’ Kingledores Crusader sold at 27,000gns.
Overall, 301 gimmers averaged £836.25, while 198 ram lambs averaged £1463.13; 691 shearling rams levelled at £1225.92 and 18 aged rams averaged out at £1456.
