Stirling – Suffolk

The Scottish Show and Sale of Suffolks last week, saw 159 head sold averaging £2119, with a 75% clearance rate. Topping the sale was a 26,000gns bid for a tup lamb from Ian and Judith Barbour’s Solwaybank flock. He is by Lakeview Harbinger and sold to Phil Poole for his Salopian flock, based near Shrewsbury.

Topping the sale at 26,000gns was Solwaybank FHT:17:01459 from Ian and Judith Barbour, selling to Phil Poole, Salopian

Strathbogie SUT:17:01506 from Jim Innes sold for 24,000gns to RH Goldie, Harpercroft, Kilmarnock and GA Mackie, Drimmie

John Sinnett’s Stockton 72H:17:04545 made 12,000gns to Gregor Hiddleston, Irongray

From Jimmy Douglas, Cairness, 33H:17:02645 sold for 12,000gns

Selling for 10,000gns for Gary Beacom was Lakeview JFF:17:02568, he sold to B & C Dickson, Newry and AS Wilson, Rathoe

Selling to Suffolk Do Pinheiro, Portugal and Llavandera Suffolks, Spain, for 10,000gns was Bridgeview BLN:17:00130 from Paul Delves

Making 9500gns was Limestone KPC:17:00772 from Mark Priestly, selling to Birness, Collessie and Pyeston

Another from Gary Beacom’s Lakeview flock, JFF:17:02573 sold for 8000gns to Ballynacannon

Also making 8000gns was Burnview T86:17:01050 for Willie Tait, he sold to AS Wilson, Rathole, Limestone and with a share retained

Cairness 33H:17:02643 sold for 8000gns to Mary-Julia Cornish
