The beef suckler herd are all home-bred with the exception of the seven pedigree Limousin stock bulls. The cattle are mostly Limousin, with some Salers bulls having also been used through the herd over the years. Among the 505 head of cattle forward are – 122 Spring calving cows, 106 Autumn calvers, plus in-calf heifers, bulling heifers, and followers.
