Worcester – Simmental
Simmental bulls saw an 85% clearance at Worcester this weekend, averaging £2810 for the 17 sold. Cows & calves averaged £2345 for three sold, 11 in-calf heifers levelled at £1752 and 11 maiden heifers saw a £1780 average.
Topping the sale was Lopemede Hamish, from J Rixon Ltd, he sold for 4100gns to sold to M/S Burnett, Staffs. The females were lead by Killiworgie Hope, making 4000gns to LJ Curry, Lower Down Farm, Felton, Bristol.
