
Highlanders – Oban
Highland cattle breeders enjoyed a strong sale at Oban this week, with trade peaking at 8000gns and averages up in most sections. A total of 10 two-year-old bulls levelled out at £4442 (+£1881 on the year), while three three-year-old bulls averaged £2590 (+£543), and three yearling bulls averaged out at £1428 (+£692). Meanwhile, seven senior heifers levelled at £2100 (-£473), with 10 three-year-old heifers averaging £1554 (+£436), nine two-year-old heifers averaging £1505 (+£360), and 18 yearling heifers levelling out at £825 (+£75).
