Welshpool – Texel
The Welsh leg of the National Texel Sales saw averages rise on the year again, this time up by £40 for the same number sold. The 108 ram lambs averaged £668.50 with 29 shearlings realising £996.78 and 85 gimmers levelling out at £630.31.
Topping the sale was Robert Pierce’s Oldford Yogi Bear selling for 3800gns to Doonguile and Pen Parc.
