
National Charolais Show 2016
The National Charolais Show took place this week at the Birmingham NEC as part of the last RABDF Livestock Event as it is, a date and name change have been announced for next years event.
Alan Lawson of the Alsnow herd judged the rising three-year-old bull Davally Igolo from David Thornley and Alistair Smith as his Overall Champion with the 15-month-old heifer Mortimers Ladyluck as Reserve.
The Charolais Youth Stockjudging Final also took place at the event. Erin Quigley topped the Junior section with the Intermediate class being won by Bartley Finnegan with the top score of the day of 148, and Kevin Reavey headed the seniors. The pairs were won by Kevin Reavey and Eimear McGovern.
