The Spring show and sale of Simmentals, incorporating the Leading Ladies show and sale, peaked at 5000gns twice, at Carlisle today.
Making the top money were two heifers, Corskie Enita and Midhope Entise, while bulls sold to 4700gns for Midhope Farmer’s Friend.
Averages: 18 bulls, £3348.33. Leading Ladies – Eight served heifers, £3517.50; five maiden heifers, £2005.50. Unhaltered females – 21 cows and heifers served and/or suckling and maiden heifers, £1680.00.
