Simmentals met a strong trade at Stirling this week, with 122 averaging out at £5675 (+£711 on the year) and a high clearance rate of 79%.
Top price in the bulls was 22,000gns for Kilbride Farm Foreman, which went to DC Houldey, Kirtleton House, Waterbeck, Lockerbie.
Females levelled out at £2275 for 24. The sale of Broombrae females peaked at 7000gns and averaged £3481 for 27 cows, while four cows and calves levelled at £2809 and seven calves averaged £2595.
