Texels sold to 70,000gns at the Scottish National Show and Sale at Lanark, for Albert and George Howie’s ram lamb, Knock Will I Am, a Garngour Vintage son which was knocked down to the Sportsmans flock.
Overall, 385 lambs sold to average £2314 – back by £167 on the year for six fewer sold – with a 78% clearance rate. The gimmer sale saw 65 sell to average £1348.04.

Tophill Wall St made 32,000gns to Clinterty, Knock and Haddo, with Tophill retaining a quarter share

Haddo Wait A Minty reached 24,000gns to JG Teward’s New View flock

Glenside Willie Winkie also hit 24,000gns, selling to Auldhouseburn, Cowal and Harestone

Farmhill Wizz Kid sold at 16,000gns to Ettrick, Knap and Smyllum

Glenside Willy Nilly made 16,000gns, to Milnbank

Reaching 15,000gns, Glenside Whiskey Galore sold to Procters

Duncryne Wladimir sold at 14,000gns to Cowal

Millar’s Windbrook also made 14,000gns, selling to Strathbogie
