Scottish National Simmental Show – Kelso
The Scottish National Simmental Show was held at the Border Union Show, Kelso, on Saturday. A fair turn out of more than 70 entries were forward for judge Cecil McIlwaine, Corrick, Co Tyrone. Overall Champion and Beef Inter-Breed Champion – Skerrington Rhona 32nd
Overall Reserve Champion – Auroch Eve from the Barlow Brothers
Overall Male Champion and Junior Champion – Woodhall Freeman
Reserve Overall Male Champion – Grangewood William from Gerald and Morag Smith
Class 141 – Bull born between 1st April and 30th June 2014 – Drumsleed Firebolt
Reserve Junior Champion – Newbiemains Fame & Fortune
Class 142 – Bull born between 1st July and 31st December 2014 – Chestermann Fabio
Class 144 – Heifer born between 1st August 2012 and 31st March 2013 – Newbiemains Dollyburd
Class 146 – Heifer born between 1st Jan and 30th June 2014 – Chestermann Ringleader Lulu
Class 147 – Heifer born between 1st July and 31st December 2014 – Drumsleed Fayet
