Oban – Highland
Highland cattle sold to 6800gns at Caledonian Marts’ Oban sale yesterday, with Alan Kennedy’s bull, Callum 9th of Goldenberry leading the trade.
Overall, five senior bulls levelled at £3718; 13 two-year-old bulls averaged £2913; three yearling bulls averaged £630; 10 senior heifers averaged out at £2121; 11 three-year-old heifers levelled at £1660; 16 two-year-old heifers averaged £1411; and 24 yearling heifers levelled out at £795.
