Simmental bulls peaked at 16,000gns at Stirling, for Robin Boyd’s Slievenagh Emperor, which sold to Gordon Clark, Broombrae Farm, Auchtermuchty. Females sold to 8500gns for Sapling Bluebell, to DC Houldey, Kirtleton House, Lockerbie. Overall, 72 bulls averaged £5852 (+£211 on the year for seven fewer sold), while 39 females levelled at £3077.
