Stirling Bull Sales – Aberdeen Angus
Aberdeen-Angus bulls sold to a top of 12,000gns at Stirling, for the champion, Neil Wattie’s Tonley Pato N938, which went to Jan Boomaars of the Vexour herd. Averages for bulls were back on the year, with 32 levelling out at £4472, while 19 females averaged out at £2553.
At the Glenbuchat herd dispersal, trade peaked at 8200gns for a cow and calf, to George McFadzean, Woodhead of Mailer. Overall, the 64 cows and calves levelled at £2461, with 14 in-calf heifers averaging £2123, 12 maiden heifers averaging £1580, and five bulls at £2646.
