National Cheviot Show
The National Cheviot show took place on Thursday at the Black Isle show with an entry of over 300 head. Ron Fergie judged the hill-type with Rod McKenzie taking charge of the Park sheep. Roderick Runcimans’ Park-type champion, Allanshaws Nessie went on to take the overall sheep interbreed title at the show.

Reserve in the hill section, the second prize ewe from Neil Montgomery

Hill-type two-shear ram was won by The Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust

The interbreed prize for the best sheep from Ross-shire went to Joanna and Lyndsay McCallum
