Royal Northern Spring Show – Commercial Calves
Judge, Phil Sellers, selected the steer champion as best overall at this week’s Spring Show at Thainstone. That was the Limousin cross, Marooned, an Atilla son from John and Craig Robertson, Newton of Logierait, Pitlochry. Taking reserve was the Kype Elliot son, Wonderboy, another Limousin cross bullock, this time from Monzie Farms, Crieff.
At the sale following the show, 34 heifers averaged £1794.74, while 21 bullocks levelled at £1920.
