Scottish National Simmental Show – Perth

A tremendous day was had at Perth show on Saturday for the 10th Scottish National Simmental show. Between the monsoon-like showers, the sun shone brightly for David Craig and his show stopper Kennox Tara’s Gem, which lifted the overall National Show championship, the beef inter-breed title and also the Champion of Champions award. This two-year-old heifer had stood reserve interbreed at this year’s Royal Highland Show.

Standing reserve was the 16-month-old bull Islavale Hogan, from the Stronach family.
