Texels sold well at the Scottish National Sale at Lanark, with 390 ram lambs averaging £2487 and reaching an unbelievable top price of 145,000gns for Knap Vicious Sid, a Tamnamoney Turborg Gold son from Robert Cockburn’s Crieff-based flock.
Gimmers averaged £1479 for 54 and peaked at 7000gns for a Knock Papoose daughter from Gordon Gray’s Ettrick flock.
